Go Bobcats!

Grant went to his first basketball game tonight, watching the Texas State Bobcats beat the Seattle U Redhawks. G was a big fan of all the sights and sounds at Key Arena.

There is still some painting to do (walls and wicker chest), but the room is stocked full of toys and ready to be played in!

11 months old!

Working on Walking

Grant is getting closer to walking!  He is doing really well with his push toys, cruising along furniture and holding someone's hand while walking.  Letting go and either lunging or taking a step are his new tricks this week.  On the 11th he took his first full step, hovered for a moment, then tried the next foot and fell. :-) 

Time to be creative

Mister is on the move and getting into anything he can open, pull, slide or tip. While there are many innovative baby proofing products out there, there are a few places in the Lewallen house that appear to be "unproofable". Needless to say Grant has found the corner pantry before Mom and Dad have found a way to keep it shut!

Swinging into the new year!

Happy New Year everyone! Surprisingly sunny in Seattle, we enjoyed January 1 by looking at some beautiful Rose Parade floats, listening to marching bands, swinging at a nearby park and watching football!
